Pairs Champs 2024
The Pairs champs were played over the weekend of the 27/28th January.
The ladies pairs final had Keryl Blackburn & Jan MacGowan playing against juniors Jocelyn Salanap & Jo Staines. It was a brilliant final to watch (and we had a record crowd to see it). Keryl and Jan were the eventual winners!
The Men's final was contested by Geoff Thomas & Keith Rolton vs brand new juniors Greg & Tim Staines. Once again it was an extremely close game but ultimately the best bowls were played by the Staines brothers who took the treasured title in their first year!
It's wonderful to see so many juniors doing so well at our club, gives us a lot of hope for the future of bowls at Sunnybrae.
